Gold and Glass
A series of jewelry combining 18k gold with borosilicate glass. The collection explores different ways of joining the two materials: gold rods are be embedded through the glass, or the glass is formed directly into a gold structure where tension creates the bond.
These methods reveal how the glass distorts and colors the gold, and how both materials interact on a structural and visual level.
